Joel Wellness Clinic is a premier weight loss and primary care clinic serving patients in Livonia and Ann Arbor, Michigan. Led by Binju Joel, MD, a dual board-certified physician in Obesity Medicine and Internal Medicine, our clinic specializes in comprehensive weight management, lipedema care, and primary care services for patients ages 15 and older.
Dr. Joel is one of the very few Lipedema specialists in the country and a Fellow of the Obesity Medicine Association. She completed her Internal Medicine and Preliminary Surgery residencies at St. Joseph Mercy Health System in Ann Arbor, MI. With over two decades of medical experience, she has published research in prestigious medical journals and participated in global medical mission trips.

Dr. Joel completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Preliminary Surgery at St. Joseph Mercy Health System, located in Ann Arbor, MI. Additionally, she is a proud member of the Obesity Medicine Association (OMA) and is currently a committee member and active mentor to aspiring Obesity Medicine physicians. She has over two decades of medical experience, published studies in prestigious medical journals, and completed mission trips worldwide.
